First up, thank you to all who supported me and read my books in 2010!

I really want 2011 to be even more successful than what 2010 was! After all, onwards and upwards and all that :-) But first, before I go on about the future, let me reflect on the past.

In 2010 I won first place in the Rainbow Awards for sci-fi/futuristic category with Light of the Body. I also published a total of 8 books! Okay, a lot of them...all except 2, were written long ago, but still. An achievement, I think. Also, along with all the highs and lows that go with writing I have met many wonderful people. I hope those friendships continue to bloom.

So what about 2011!

There are 12 books in the works, my publisher accepting all of them...and more :-) So plenty of my stories will be out there for you all to enjoy. Also, I think a new logo is in order for this website and all the others I frequent. I need 'brand' recognition and one that is uniform over all the sites I own. After all, a new year is a new start, isn't it?

I have come up with something I really like. "Release Your Inhibitions...Read a Mark Alders book today." Now, the image I have with this logo does push the boundaries a little. I am not 100% sure I should use it, but again, I really like it. It says it all as far as what I write goes. Just in case you didn't catch on, I write gay erotic stories with a sci-fi/fantasy twist. My stories have nudity and sex in them. With men. With each other.

Comments about what you think of the logo picture would be appreciated. It will be placed on my front page of this website and that is all. I think it will go nicely located right there. Not too invasive and not on any book pages I have.
