I love November. It's the month where you know Christmas is just around the corner and gorging chocolate is considered normal instead of something that has to be done in private--what, you don't hide chocolate around the house...Oh. Well, anyway, November is also that magical time where writers from all over the world join to add words to pages (or computer word docs)

This year I am continuing the story I started at exactly the same time last year. That's right, I am doing part 2 of the Borders of Worlds Saga. The one with the huge alien spider named Vernon that even I have come to adore. And I hates spiders, especially the really hairy ones. I wrote Vernon as a sort of therapy...It worked. I now only detest spiders, but try and pick them up in jars and let them lose in the garden instead of using so much insect spray on them they turn white and slowly choke to death.

Now, getting back to part 2. In this installment, Drake (the human nourisher of Vernon's egg) and Vernon must get back to Earth to begin drawing up the alliance between spiders and mammals before the war against the wasps comes to fruition. Along the way, much intrigue is discovered, as well as betrayal, double dealings and a threat from new enemies.

I won't say much more, only that the story really has taken a life of it's own. Don't forget, this month on the 15th Centaur's Awakening will be released, too! Ah, November...time to get all that chocolate together so I can begin the feasting!
