Do you want to win a copy of my upcoming release, The Vicar of Pasmore on the 15th of February? Well, this time things are a little different because the competition is an adult's only game I have posted at the m/m Romance group over at goodreads. To enter, you must be a member of that group. And who isn't who loves m/m?
Anyway, here is the link. Enjoy and above all, have fun!

My partner wants to buy a spa...if Devin Moss (pictured) came with it, there would be no question. Nuff said LOL.
Now...I want to talk about a topic near and dear to me. You know what I mean. Yep...foreskins! Seems to have come to my attention that in ALMOST every book I read in the m/m genre, no matter where it's set, ALL the men in them are cut!
W.T.F
People, if you're writing a book with a character from a culture which does NOT circumcise their boys, say like 70% of the planet, then please... Continue reading...

Here's my latest WIP and what I'm working on now...and yep, only my crazy bitch of a muse could come up with it LOL
Forerunner:
The Brona are
sentient humanoid aliens, man’s first contact, and at a technological level
equivalent to our pre-industrial age. As a culture, the Brona offer no interest
to humanity. That is until it’s discovered the foreskins of male Brona secrete
a substance which has miraculous curative properties for humans.
Aznan Calmere is a forerunner a mercenary who is paid... Continue reading...

Yes, I collect dragons. Don't ask me why, I just do. It gives me joy to collect pieces which really get me going on a level I can't describe. I don't have many, but the ones I do, I love. No, I am not like that TV show American Pickers where if you come to my house there's flotsam of dragon junk lying all over the yard and in delapidated out buildings.
Like I said, I only have a few, but enough to now warrant me buying a lovely glass and white lacquered wood cabinet to display them in. So the... Continue reading...

Imagine writing the scene above!
Oh my...all that..."and then he did this" sort of stuff you'd need just to make the scene make sense. It would be a long scene indeed, if only to make sure all the characters got their turn. Which, in essence, no matter how many participants are in a scene, that's what should happen.
All characters should get their turn.
Nothing worse than reading a menage (or more) story when one or more of the characters are left with nothing to do but hold their dicks. That... Continue reading...

I read in the paper the other day a rather interesting article. It was about how 'researchers' were looking into aspects of love. After no doubt tens of thousands of dollars of taxpayers money, just as many staff and many months, these researchers discovered that...get this...in a 'comfortable' relationship men are more likely to say "I love you" than women....about 30% more. What's more, and if that wasn't enough to rock the foundations of the world, they said that this "I love you" is proba... Continue reading...

It was so damn hot yesterday I spent the morning doing my writing (in the nude and in my back garden where it was shady) and then, the rest of the day lounging around on the sofa with the fan on and a satisfied smile. There may have been a couple of naps there to save myself up for the big afternoon snooze, but there you go.
Yesterday was the first day in a long time I pretty much did stuff all (aside from writing 5000 words on my latest WIP) Oh, how one loves to be lazy sometimes :)
I hope yo... Continue reading...

With the boom in eReaders, inevitably there is going to be a boom in eBook sales. After all, no matter how much I've tried I can't force my old fashioned 'paper' books, including my Heinlein collection, into my eReader so that I can carry them all around with me. Paper just doesn't want to be compressed like that! Looks like I am buying them again in digital format. LOL
Also, inevitably with increased eBook sales, there has been an increase in erotica! Now, some have said, erotica is rubbish a... Continue reading...

This coming Thursday is Australia day! Yay! An excuse for a day off work and to have a BBQ! What's more, Australia day is special to me because its a day I decide to do something different. I remember one particular warm Australia day a few years back, Lee and I headed to the beach (we were living in Perth at the time)
It was a place called Hillarys and it was the same year that McNaught comet thingy was whizzing around our planet. It was also an evening where thunderstorms loomed in the sky ... Continue reading...

About Me
I am Mark Alders, writer, intactivist, post office worker, and all round nice guy...except when someone steals my chocolate! I am a proud Australian, and as such use different spellings and have some weird phrases, too. Hey, perhaps that's why I write some damn weird shit!
I can't change who I am.
So when you read one of my books, enjoy the ride, but please don't say I can't spell. I spell how I damn well feel like it! LOL Naw seriously, I spell like an Aussie...do forgive me because we are a breed unto ourselves. Where else can a place have 11 registered public holidays and no one has any idea what they are for except to have a BBQ and down some beers!
If you do find a genuine error in my work, please let me know so I can speak with my editor...also, as an addition to that, offer chocolates as well. Lots of chocolates.
*hugs*
Mark
