Under: General thoughts
Here's from, the news:
Nine thousand people have marched in this year's Sydney Pride parade, the largest in Australia. Hundreds of thousands lined the street to cheer them on. This year's theme was "History of the World" and scores of dancers were dressed as famous identities from the pages of history. Being the 32nd annual parade, it had taken on a specifically political flavour this year after same sex marriage legislation was voted down in the Senate yesterday...But the mood has not been dampened; celebrations continued well into the night.
Okay, I really don't see what the problem is with letting same sex people marry. Oh, wait, I do! So-called do-gooders who have no lives or no understanding who feel it's their God given right to interfere in the lives of other people. That's what it boils down to. Why should someone tell someone else who they can or cannot love?
My name is Mark Alders. I live in a house. This house has a street in front of it which is a good thing because if it didn't I wouldn't be able to drive down to the shop and purchase the chocolate I need on a daily basis *giggle*
Seriously, I am a mild mannered post office worker by day and an erotic romance writer (mainly male/male) at night. Not much else to say other than, like everyone else, I have bills to pay, a mortgage and family that I love and drive me crazy all at the same time. Oh, and I have a dog, too!
See?
Average Joe...except when I get down and write...then I let my imagination go to places I never knew existed and my characters invade my mind.
