The internet is a wonderful thing. Not only is it a great tool, you get to meet such wonderful people as well. I would like to thank each and every one of you who sent me well wishes and blessings, either in person or on many of the blogs and forums I frequent. I do hope I get better soon.
I have noticed one thing about hospital@home care. The only place where I can sit in the whole house so I can elevate my leg is where the dog usually makes her home. LOL I get such dirty looks from her as I sit down and make myself comfortable, let me tell you. Suffice it to say she has now made a compromise and sits on my lap. Thank God I don't own a cat. I think the cat would win.
Also, I have made a fantastic friend over there at MANtastic. Thanks Dolorianne for all your hard work. What a great idea this blog is to get readers and writers together. To help readers learn a little bit more about me, here's some more information.
I am expecting the editor's draft of "Shadows of the Mind" soon. Gee, it's getting close now, isn't it? Here's a sneak peek at the publisher's coming soon page featuring my work. How exciting. Thanks Jay and Tina for making me one happy camper :-)
Anyway, that's all for now. I gotta rest up a bit and then do some more writing. Talk to you all soon.
I am Mark Alders, writer, intactivist, post office worker, and all round nice guy...except when someone steals my chocolate! I am a proud Australian, and as such use different spellings and have some weird phrases, too. Hey, perhaps that's why I write some damn weird shit!
I can't change who I am.
So when you read one of my books, enjoy the ride, but please don't say I can't spell. I spell how I damn well feel like it! LOL Naw seriously, I spell like an Aussie...do forgive me because we are a breed unto ourselves. Where else can a place have 11 registered public holidays and no one has any idea what they are for except to have a BBQ and down some beers!
If you do find a genuine error in my work, please let me know so I can speak with my editor...also, as an addition to that, offer chocolates as well. Lots of chocolates.
*hugs*
Mark
